I have been bringing groups of students over to The Gambia, West Africa for short term Capstone Project site visits since 2010. We stay in Pirang Village during those visits and our hosts there run a Football Academy for the youth of Pirang. In 2015 Coach Skip Roderick donated surplus equipment from his summer soccer camps to the academy. This year, Skip organized an equipment drive by the Elizabethtown College Soccer Team in support of the Youth Football Academy in Pirang. The team donated over 60 lbs of new and used cleats, uniforms and other equipment. We brought this donation over to Pirang in May and the guys there recorded this thank you message to the team: Link to Video
