A discovery by MIT researchers may pave the way for mechanical solutions to neuron stimulus to treat Parkinson’s and other diseases. The process uses tiny discs with a property that causes them to flutter in a magnetic field to target neurons in the dorsal root ganglion, where the central and peripheral nervous systems interface.
