We&#8217;ll work on developing efficient habits for researching and writing. Students often tell me they never expected to learn so much in this class&#8211;so I hope that shows you that we&#8217;ll be covering a lot of content that&#8217;s new to you this coming term!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Etown students complete<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etown.edu\/depts\/english\/first-year-writing.aspx\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.etown.edu\/depts\/english\/first-year-writing.aspx\" target=\"_blank\"> writing-based credit for Core<\/a>. It is all about writing. Literature is great too, but this<em> isn<\/em>&#8216;<em>t<\/em> a literature course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll gain access to our Canvas course a few days before class starts. You&#8217;ll then be able to access the syllabus and the syllabus overview videos you&#8217;ll need to watch before we meet for our first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Textbook Info<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This course will include reading, but it will all be available as free PDFs or online readings.
