Students may opt to join the trip without enrolling in the course. Deepen your experience through guided creative writing reflections related to these iconic sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coursework on the trip:<\/strong> The course is about exploring gorgeous settings and iconic city-scapes. You&#8217;ll engage with your surroundings through short journaling exercises at the locations of your choice: a cathedral green, a city cafe, a riverside bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coursework before we leave:<\/strong> complete short training on taking excellent pictures with your phone and read short examples of travel writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coursework after the trip<\/strong>: revise your travel pieces (1 super short piece and 1 longer piece) with my assistance, and write a reflection about your experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Credit Details:<\/strong> The trip counts as<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 college credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>stacked course option for Honors Program students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SLE credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creative Expression Credit, and part of the CW minor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Payments: Travelers will make two payments to cover the program fee. Dates for payment are 1. at time of registration and 2. Here are the next steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. <strong>Register<\/strong> your interest by emailing me to get on the email list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Make the &#8220;save my spot&#8221; registration payment<\/strong> via the payment portal, <strong>NOT YET OPEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deposit payment: $2,700<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second\/final program payment: $2,800, due Feb. 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the trip fund starts making payments to vendors, full refunds may not be possible. After the date of Feb. 1, full or partial refunds cannot be guaranteed.
